Most Backward Classes Development Corporation, Govt. of Telangana conducted valedictory function of 5-Day skill development training programme on “Making of Clay Ganeshas and Diyas” at SRTRI on 15.06.2018.  Sri Thaduri Srinivas Garu, Chairman, MBCDC was the chief guest of the valedictory function.  He suggested the participants to make use of the knowledge that is acquired from the programme and produce good quality and attractive clay Ganeshas and clay items. He has distributed the certificates to the participants who have sucessfully completed the training programme. Sri Alok Kumar, CEO, MBCDC, Dr.N.Kishore Reddy, Director, SRTRI, Ms.S.Saraswathi, MPP,others participated in the programme.


Most Backward Classes Development Corporation, Govt. of Telangana conducted 5-Day skill development training programme on “Making of Clay Ganeshas and Diyas” at SRTRI on 11.06.2018 for the welfare of Kammari Shalivahana Artisans.  Sri Thaduri Srinivas Garu, Chairman, MBCDC was the chief guest of the inaugural function. He advised  every one to share the resposibility of spreading about the usage and  importance of clay Ganeshas, clay utensils and other clay items.  He suggested to use latest technology for making clay items. He also said that if necessary, he would try to obtain permission from the government to visit other countries for exchange of technology. He advised all the participants to take optimum benefit from the programme.  He also said financial support would be provided to the artisans for making clay items.  Sri Alok Kumar, CEO, MBCDC, Dr.N.Kishore Reddy, Director, SRTRI, Ms.S.Saraswathi, MPP, Sri K.Sudhakar Reddy, Vice MPP and others participated in the programme.

 


Sri ESL Narasimhan, Hon'ble Governor of Telangana & Andhra Pradesh visited SRTRI on 7th Feb. 2018 and interacted with the trainees about the trainings being imparted. He visited all the training labs and inquired about the employment prospects. While addressing the trainees, he suggested to take up the employment opportunities being given by the Institute and move to places where growth prospects are brighter. He also suggested to continue their higher studies to move up the ladder. He encouraged the  candidates to take up self-employment and provide employment to some more. He mentioned about the loans and subsidies being given by the government to budding entrepreneurs. He complimented the initiatives of the Institute and extended his best wishes to all. Smt. Anita Ramachandran, IAS, Collector, Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri District, Joint Collector, and other officials participated in the event.


Sri Jupally Krishna Rao, Hon'ble Minister for Panchayat Raj & Rural Development, Government of Telangana visited this Institute on 7th August, 2017 and reviewed its functioning. He interacted with the faculty and the students and was appraised about the activities and progress of skill development training by the Institute. He complimented the activities of the Institute and assured to provide necessary support to scale up the activities. Sri Boora Narsaiah Goud, M.P., Sri Pailla Shekar Reddy, M.L.A., Smt. Anita Ramachadran, IAS, Collector, Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri Dist. and others accompanied him.


Sri Etela Rajender, Hon'ble Minister for Finance visited the Institute on 16th February 2017 to interact with the trainees and the trainers and suggest ways for up-scaling the skill training programs. He expressed his happiness over the training programs and placements provided by the institute to the rural youth and promised to provide all the required financial support for building the infrastructure and training equipment to increase the existing and taking up latest demand driven programs. Sri Boora Narsaiah Goud, M.P., Sri Pailla Shekar Reddy, M.L.A., Smt. Anita Ramachandran, IAS, Collector, Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri Dist. and other dignitaries attended the program.
