Entrepreneurship Development Programs


The Institutes conducts Entrepreneurship Development Programs on demand to different clientele such as:

  1. Youth who have acquired some technical skills and wish to take up self-employment.
  2. Self-Help Groups for setting up micro enterprises and its management.
  3. Specially designed EDP courses to small traders and business people.
  4. Beneficiaries under various government schemes aiming promotion of business units in rural areas.
  5. Any other clientele on their request.

The duration of the training programs ranges between one and two weeks, covering the following topics in general.

  1. Rural Entrepreneurship
  2. Rural resources and opportunities.
  3. Rural marketing structure and operations.
  4. Business opportunity scanning.
  5. Enterprise promotion - steps and procedure.
  6. Market dynamics.
  7. Product promotion.
  8. Group dynamics.
  9. Creativity and Problem solving.
  10. Finance and their sources.
  11. Government Schemes and Subsidies.
  12. Legal and compliance system.
  13. Project Report development.
  14. Technology awareness.
  15. Field Study, etc.

The Institute designed and conducted several short-duration EDP training programs previously to SHGs, CMEY/RYK beneficiaries, Tribal Welfare Department beneficiaries, etc.
